I went to see Cat Power at the Forum Theatre last night... blurry pic attached ('no flash please' - and fair enough too!). She was pretty good. Last nights performance was a stark contrast to the last time I saw her (Manchester Lane a couple of years back) where she sat hunched over the piano in the dark melding together one song after another to make an indecipherable mess of noise. Last night she was actually smiling and talking (mumbling) to the crowd - she actually seemed to be enjoying the performance. I am very glad that we gave her a 2nd chance.
