Highlights of Washington DC were the Georgetown area (a nice place to roam around with lots of restaurants and shops), the little garden behind the Old Stone House (a tranquil break from the hustle and bustle), the many many museums in the National Mall area (with enough detail to keep you busy for days on end) and an evening stroll around Washington Harbour.
